  • Re-engineered aluminum-interlocked-armor sheath prevents the armor from getting jammed during pulling, which reduces labor and boosts efficiency
  • Designed by ISO-Certified Cofer Technology Center
  • More compact than the standard MC design which reduces usage of packaging material and can save cost on shipping, transportation, and installation time

Copper and Aluminum Usage

  • Southwire Continuous ROD (SCR®) Systems deliver over 50% of the global copper continuous-casting capacity. Copper rod is transformed into fully-annealed copper conductors in all Southwire's MC products including SIMpull MC™. Their premium quality copper has been specified in North America for critical infrastructure expansions.
  • Southwire's SCR® Systems have also been deployed to produce aluminum and aluminum alloys around the world. Southwire's aluminum rod mill in Kentucky manufactures the aluminum strips to be formed under heat and pressure into the final interlocked armor in all MC products including SIMpull MC™ cable.

Sustainable Attributes

  • Southwire offers over 180 products that feature sustainable attributes including SIMpull MC™ Cable. The product life cycle is scrutinized from the extraction of raw materials, design, manufacturing, and installation to the final disposal.
  • More compact due to the aluminum armor profile, which reduces the usage of packaging material and potentially saves cost on shipping, transportation, and installation time.

Can Be Deployed in All Applications Where Standard Type MC Cables Are Used, Such As:

  • Factories and Industrial Plants
