Kirby Risk Precision Machining has an assorted range of Milling and Turning Machines that provide our customers with high-tolerance products.

 

Milling Capabilities:

  • 2.5 – axis through 5 – axis milling
  • 400mm, 500mm, and 630mm Horizontal Machining Centers
  • Full 5-axis capabilities with our 550mm Mill-Turn Machining Center
  • Maximum part volume of Ø1,050mm x 1,000mm [Ø41.3 inches x 39.4 inches]
  • Maximum part weight of approximately 1,820 kg [4,000 pounds]
  • Hold feature tolerances of 25 microns regularly
  • In-house Workholding, Tooling, and Gauging design and build

Turning Capabilities:

  • 2 – axis Turning ranging from Ø150mm [Ø5.9 inches] to Ø800mm [Ø31.5 inches]
  • 4 – axis Turning Center with live tooling and sub-spindle ranging from Ø25mm [Ø1.0 inch] to Ø300mm [Ø11.8 inches]
  • 2 Vertical Turning Centers
  • 3 Horizontal Turning Centers
  • Maximum VTL part volume of Ø1,000mm x 550mm [Ø39.4 inches x 21.6 inches]
  • Hold feature tolerances of 25 microns regularly
