Kirby Risk earned the 2022 Member of the Year Award - Operational Excellence at this year’s supplyFORCE National Meeting held February 28-March 2 in Scottsdale, Arizona. George Allinson, Executive Vice President of Operations at supplyFORCE presented the award to Kirby Risk’s Rick Snider, Strategic Sales Support and Matt LeClerc, Strategic Contracts and Services Manager, during the meeting.
Kirby Risk has been an owner/member of supplyFORCE since it began in 1999. supplyFORCE delivers market leading multicategory MRO (maintenance, repair, and operating) supply chain solutions to multi-site customers. The supplyFORCE network has more than 200 local distributors representing more than 2,500 locations with over $5 billion inventory and combined annual revenues exceeding $22 billion. The distributor members of supplyFORCE represent thousands of manufacturers in the Electrical, Industrial, Safety, Pipe Valves and Fittings, Bearings and Power Transmission and other MRO categories.
Kirby Risk was selected this year’s award winner based on the following criteria:
- Timeliness of acknowledged orders
- Current order status (orders acknowledged, engaged in resolving issues)
- Resolving EDI invoice errors
- Timeliness in submitting data
- Quality of data submitted
“Working effectively with supplyFORCE and providing our traditional high level of service to strategic customers is a team sport,” said Matt LeClerc. “Over the past couple of years, we have had an intentional focus to better understand the processes involved in transacting business with supplyFORCE customers, identify areas for improvement and implement plans to increase our effectiveness. There are a lot of moving parts to this business and it has taken continuous interdepartmental cooperation to Make It Happen.” George Allinson commented that he appreciates the high level of engagement Kirby Risk has with our counterparts at supplyFORCE and our efforts are reflected in incremental improvements in several areas.
