With its space-saving dimensions, it is approximately half the size and weight of the original SolaHD™ SDU DC and competitors' models. As a result, you can easily fits the SDU DC-B into standard control cabinets, therefore eliminating the need to purchase a separate control box which can be expensive to install, requires additional materials and leads to unnecessary production downtime. Design engineers and facility designers will be able to use smaller, less expensive panels or use an existing panel and have room for more components to be mounted on the DIN Rail. Being exceptionally lightweight, it will not stress the weight capacity of a cabinet's DIN Rail. For added versatility the SDU DC-B can be installed on a wall by using an optional chassis mount bracket. They also can be daisy-chained to as many as four battery modules for extended runtime.
