Use our 3M™ Scotchlok™ 562 IDC Double Run or Tap Electrical Connectors when you need to establish insulated electrical connections between wire ends (tap) and through (run) wires. Identifying the required wire size is easy thanks to the color-coding of this yellow connector, which can be used with 12 AWG wires and 10 AWG stranded wires. The insulation is constructed from polypropylene, while the u-contact is made from tin-plated brass for durability. Use this item with the E-9BM Crimping Tool, which has powerful metal jaws for efficient performance. Extreme heat isn’t a problem with this connector because it’s suitable for use in temperatures up to 194 degrees F (90 degrees C). Our connectors are UL approved and ?RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant for quality assurance.
