The New Milwaukee Band Saw Deliver Fast Cutting Speed

Aug 14, 2020, 10:27 AM by Milwaukee Tool

Milwaukee Tool continues to deliver disruptive innovation with the introduction of the M18 FUEL Compact Band Saw and the M18 FUEL Compact Dual-Trigger Band Saw, offering the fastest cutting speed and largest cut capacity of any compact band saw.

Optimized for the trades, the new band saws are equipped with Milwaukee’s M18 FUEL technology. A POWERSTATE brushless motor and Constant Power Technology enable the band saws to deliver unmatched cutting speed. Both models feature Jobsite Armor Technology that protects the tool from drops and debris with a proprietary composite material and crush zone barriers for impact absorption. REDLINK PLUS Intelligence delivers optimized performance and overload protection using total system communication between the tool, battery and charger. A variable speed trigger, tool-free locking adjustable shoe, and LED work light provide maximum control and increase overall productivity. For ease of use, the tools incorporate a rafter hook for easy storage in-between cuts.

To align with jobsite requirement changes, a dual-trigger option will also be available with the M18 FUEL Compact Dual-Trigger Band Saw that requires users to engage the triggers located on the front and back handles simultaneously in order to operate. The M18 FUEL Compact Dual-Trigger Band Saw incorporates the same features, durability and performance as the M18 FUEL Compact Band Saw with the addition of a dual-trigger.

Alongside the new band saws, a pipe reamer attachment and compact band saw blade covers will be available as well. The band saw pipe reamer attachment provides users with the ability to easily cut and ream with one tool, has tool-free installation, and can ream ½”, ¾” and 1” conduit. This new-to-world product increases efficiency and saves time for users on the jobsite. The blade covers protect the blade track from damage, minimize blade exposure, and have tool-free installation and removal for increased efficiency. Like the band saws, the blade covers are equipped with Jobsite Armor Technology.
